Lapping & polishing is a process by which material is precisely removed from metals, glasses, optics, semiconductors or ceramics to produce a desired dimension, shape or surface finish.
ALT provides a free abrasive lapping process; single or double sided, to deliver optimum flatness, parallelism, thickness, and surface finishes within extremely stringent tolerances.
ALT also offers both mechanical and CMP (chemical mechanical process) polishing services to produce scratch-free, high-quality surface finishes to meet specific requirements.
